Elise's First Steps

Just to give you some context: Elise's first steps took place at the beach in Thailand where Rebecca and I were spending time with our friends Shannon and Alan and their two year old son Cameron. We had a birthday party at our little bungalow with our two families featuring trick candles propped up in a plate full of chocolate cookies (Tim Tams). As you can see, having one melting chocolate cookie in each hand (and on her face, forehead and hair) was adequate to fuel Elise's cookie waving birthday walking adventure. We will be flying to Norfolk from Bangkok tomorrow in one crazy, very long and no doubt hair-raising journey with Elise. I'll be in a Dramamine induced coma; have fun, Rebecca!
